Some seasons feel like a continuation. Others feel like a quiet shift.
When we stepped into Savi and Michael’s home, it was clear they were in the middle of one of those shifts expecting their second child, while still fully rooted in the life they’ve already built together.
Savi carried that balance effortlessly. Present, grounded, and moving through the space with intention. There’s a confidence that comes with doing this again but also a softness, a deeper awareness of what this moment means.

Michael stayed close, in a way that felt natural. Not performative, not forced. Just steady. The kind of presence that shows up in small ways standing beside her, checking in, sharing quiet moments in between everything else.
What stood out most wasn’t any single moment—it was the in-between. The way they moved around each other. The ease. The familiarity. The sense that this next chapter is already being welcomed in, without needing to rush it.
And that’s what we’re always drawn to capturing families as they are, right in the middle of it all.
